Lafayette's seminal power trio BLACK DAMP originally came together in 2002, developing their own brand of "robot rock" through the fusion of heavy riffing and punk intensity. Following a self-styled mantra of "Killing pop music one fan at a time", the band of guitarist Brian Boszor, bassist and vocalist Karl Vaughn, and drummer Ray Stinson played a multitude of shows across the state of Indiana, culminating with the 2005 release of their sole full-length recording, "BUILDING A HEAD". Eight years later, ResinHit Records is proud to re-release BLACK DAMP's seminal album for the first time in digital format, along with the bonus of two additional tracks taken from the band's last demo put together in 2007.
